The purpose of the event is to provide a forum for Member States to share expert knowledge on the behaviour of fuels used in liquid metal cooled fast reactors, to foster the exchange of information on testing and modelling, to discuss the discrepancies in results observed during the coordinated research project entitled "Fuel Materials for Fast Reactors", and to develop recommendations for IAEA's future activities on fuel development for fast reactors.
