Improving Water Resources Management in Djibouti through the Use of Isotope Hydrology under Climate Change Conditions

To assess the groundwater dynamics of the complex volcano sedimentary aquifer systems and to determine the origin and the mechanisms governing its salinization for the coastal aquifer field and to promote its benefits to the living standards of local people and to the local economy. This project will help to improve national capacities in terms of the geochemical and isotopic analysis of groundwater and rainwater by setting up of a national groundwater monitoring network with data banking.
