    The webinar on Developing a Roadmap for New Nuclear Power Programmes is part of 2023 webinar series focusing on the IAEA support to embarking countries considering development of a nuclear power (NP) programme. Developing a new NP programme is a very long project requiring strong commitments from all parties involved. Therefore, developing a roadmap can play a critical role giving guidance to critical stakeholders and decision-makers.

    The objective of this webinar is to present to Member States a structured approach to develop a roadmap for new nuclear power programmes and provide an overview of the IAEA related services. Mongolia and Kenya will also have an opportunity to share their experience in developing their roadmap for the introduction of nuclear power in their countries.
