The purpose of the event is to enhance participants’ awareness and understanding of the planning and execution of nuclear security measures for major public events.The target audience are designated coordinators and decision makers from organizations with responsibilities for planning and preparing nuclear security measures for MPEs. Participants with duties related to prevention, detection and response to criminal or unauthorized acts involving nuclear and other radioactive materials. Participants should represent, for example, the following organizations: 1. Ministry of Interior (Police, Gendarmerie, Bomb Squad, etc.)2. Customs 3. Border Security4. Military5. Regulatory Authority or other Technical Support Organizations
