International Peer Review of the Environmental Impact Assessment Performed for the Licence Application of the Baltic-1 Nuclear Power Plant, Kaliningrad, Russian Federation

The State Atomic Energy Corporation of the Russian Federation (ROSATOM) requested the services of the IAEA to conduct an international peer review of the environmental impact assessment for the Baltic-1 Nuclear Power Plant against the IAEA Safety Standards. The international expert group assessed radiation protection and monitoring, radioactive waste mangement and the transport of used nuclear fuel in accordance with IAEA Safety Standards and the consensus view is presented in this publication.
