Expanding and Strengthening Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Services

To consolidate the existing radiotherapy and nuclear medicine facilities at the Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, and establish radiotherapy and nuclear medicine centers in five regions of the country (Gondar, Awassa, Jimma, Mekele and Harar university hospitals) for the diagnosis and curative and palliative treatment of cancer patients and the efficient diagnosis and management of other diseases including cardiovascular diseases.
