Radiation metrologists trained to PhD level in LMIC Member States, Publications in radiation metrology and dosimetry which will be of benefit to all Member States, Availability of radiation metrologists in a region that will be able to train and supervise the next generation of radiation metrologists.
Objectives
The primary objective of this CRP is to enhance the academic development of specialist radiation metrologists in Secondary Standards Dosimetry Laboratories (SSDLs) and in radiation dosimetry in LMICs, to improve quality and accuracy of dosimetry services in participating Member States by the development of radiation dosimetry methodologies, to enhance capabilities of participating Member States in advanced dosimetry research, and to establish international scientific networks.
