Background
The International School of Nuclear Law (ISNL) was established in 2001 by the University of Montpellier in cooperation with the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). The School benefits from the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Detailed information on the ISNL can be found on the NEA website.
The ISNL 2026 session will take place from 24 August to 4 September 2026.
IAEA financial support
The IAEA awards financial support to a limited number of professionals from its Member States who are eligible for financial support under the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme. Selection is based on the applicant's particular interest and involvement in the field of nuclear law.
Deadline
The deadline for applications for the 2026 session is 31 March 2026.

Application procedure
If you are interested in applying for IAEA financial support for your participation in the ISNL, you are kindly requested to submit an application directly to the IAEA in addition to your ISNL application form to be submitted to the NEA.
Applications for financial support should be submitted online through the InTouch+ system. Applications should be linked to the technical cooperation project INT0105 – Establishing and Enhancing National Legal Frameworks in Member States, EVT2600848.
