IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano made the opening remarks at a groundbreaking event for the renovation of the IAEA Nuclear Applications Laboratories in Seibersdorf, Austria, known as the ReNuAL project. The 50th anniversary of the Joint FAO/IAEA Division of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture was also celebrated at this gathering.
