Enhancing Laboratory Diagnostic Testing Capacity for Brucellosis, Sheep Pox and Leishmaniosis at the National Animal and Plant Health Laboratory

To improve the laboratory diagnostic capacity of the National Animal and Plant Health Laboratory (NAPHL) through the procurement of essential laboratory items, training personnel and hiring experts in the specific areas.

Specific objectives: (i) to improve brucellosis diagnostic capacity through training and the procurement of specific reagents, chemicals and equipment; (ii) to introduce leishmaniosis diagnostic techniques at the NAPHL; and (iii) to improve sheep and goat pox disease diagnostic capacity through training and the procurement of specific reagents, chemicals and equipment.
