The launch?of the Rays of Hope initiative will take place in Addis Ababa on the margins of the African Union Summit on Friday 4 February 2022 at 4 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Vienna time). The event is co-hosted by Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, current Chair of the African Union and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and the incoming Chair of the African Union and President of Senegal Macky Sall.
