Webinar on Medical Preparedness and Response for a Nuclear or Radiological Emergency

The Webinar aims to:

• Raise awareness of ?national arrangements needed for an effective medical EPR programme in line with the IAEA General Safety Requirements Preparedness and Response for a Nuclear or Radiological Emergency (GSR Part 7);
  ?
• Present a system of protective and other response actions in a nuclear or radiological emergency, including decision-making criteria in line with GSR Part 7;
  ?
• Discuss the updates to medical EPR in GSR Part 7 and their impact on existing national EPR frameworks;
  ?
• Raise awareness of the role of IAEA and WHO in preparedness for, and response to, a nuclear or radiological emergency; and
  ?
• Share examples of international medical assistance provided within the framework of IAEA’s Response and Assistance Network.
