The Mobile-Integrated Nuclear Security Network (M-INSN),developed by the IAEA, provides critical situational awareness for nuclearsecurity missions. This tool includes web servers, databases, a user interface, and a phone app connecting radiation detectors via Bluetooth. It ensures securedistribution and analysis of nuclear security information among designated end-users.In 2022, Thailand, Albania, and the United States successfully tested theM-INSN, sparking interest from several African Member States for deployment, testing, training, and research collaboration.
This event targets potential users and managers of theM-INSN, including system administrators, IT staff, and operational staff. Idealparticipants should have experience in nuclear security missions and knowledgeof radiation detection equipment and cybersecurity requirements. The focus ison African countries with approved Integrated Nuclear Security SustainabilityPlans (INSSPs) interested in implementing the M-INSN.
