Regional Workshop on Threat Assessment and Design Basis Threat

The purpose of the event is to provide the participants with a step by step methodology for conducting a national nuclear security threat assessment, including both physical and computer security aspects, and for developing, using and maintaining design basis threats and representative threat statements.Participants should be responsible for the development and implementation of regulations for the security of nuclear and other radioactive material and associated facilities in their countries. Interested parties may include experts, analysts, and those directly involved in national security, customs and border security, law enforcement; regulatory authorities, technical support organizations; and any other competent authorities responsible for threat and risk assessments.
