RadChem 2026 is organised on behalf of the Division of Nuclear- and Radiochemistry of the European Chemical Society

RadChem 2026 aims at maintaining the 65 year tradition of this conference series organised in the Czech Republic (or formerly in Czechoslovakia). We strive to continue in the tradition of organising a fruitful and well attended platform for contacts between experts working in both basic and applied research in all aspects of nuclear- and radiochemistry.

The scope of the 20th Radiochemical Conference will cover most topics of the former meetings of this series including, but not limited to, chemistry of radioactive elements, radioanalytical methods, radiochemical separation methods and speciation techniques, environmental radioactivity (both natural and artificial), radioecology, application of radionuclides and ionising radiation in research and technology, radiation chemistry, chemistry of the nuclear fuel cycle including the chemical aspects of nuclear waste treatment and disposal, or education and training. Organisation committee is looking forward to further expansion of the session dealing with nuclear methods in medicine and radiopharmaceutical chemistry that was very successful on the recent conferences.

In agreement with the general scope of the conference outlined above, the organisers expect the contributions to address namely the following topics:

• Radionuclides in the Environment, Radioecology (RER)
• Radioanalytical Methods (NAM)
• Chemistry of Actinide and Trans-actinide Elements (TAN)
• Radiation Chemistry (RCH)
• Production and Application of Radionuclides (PAR)
• Separation Methods, Speciation (SEP)
• Chemistry of Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Radiochemical Aspects of Radioactive Waste Management (NFC)
• Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry, Labelled Compounds (RFC)
• Education (EDU)

However, the submitted contributions need not be limited to the enumerated topics.
