Over 700 representatives from 39 IAEA Member States and 4 international organizations convened at the 27th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference in Ahmedabad, India, last week to discuss key physics and technology issues as well as innovative concepts related to nuclear fusion as a future source of energy.

Winners of the IAEA Crowdsourcing Challenge for Materials for Fusion Technology Announced
A team of four scientists from the Max Planck Institute of Plasma Physics?and from the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility in Garching, Germany have recently won the IAEA crowdsourcing challenge for visualization, analysis and simulation of materials to build fusion reactors.
