Global leaders, policy makers and experts will explore the future of nuclear power at the IAEA’s International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century. Taking place 30 October-1 November 2017 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the conference will look at how nuclear power can help power modern economies with a reliable supply of baseload electricity, while helping them reach their goals to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions. It will also examine challenges to the greater implementation of nuclear power, including cost, policy and public acceptance.
