IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano briefs the Board of Governors on the Agency′s work in nuclear techniques for water: water resources assessment, agricultural water management, and aquatic pollution control; and the launch of the IAEA Water Availability Enhancement (IWAVE) project. He also talked about cancer control in developing countries which remains an important focus for the Agency.
