At the end of the latest round of talks between the IAEA and Iran, Deputy Director General and Head of the IAEA Department of Safeguards, Tero Varjoranta, delivered a joint statement by the IAEA and the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was joined by the Iranian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Reza Najafi. A further meeting will be held on 21 January 2013 in Tehran.
