Environmental Remediation - Participatory Approaches to Environmental Remediation Decision-Making

This panel brings together decision-making stakeholders of different areas (e.g. regulators, researchers, citizen scientists) to provide their views on the topic and indicate a road-map to be considered by the social-sciences and technical community to pursue inclusive, viable and effective mechanisms to support decision-making in the scope of environmental remediation, both at the level of individual projects, as well as at the broader, regulatory level.Key questions in this respect are: How are decisions made? Who’s perspectives are included in decision-making and in which way? How are institutions integrating insights from non-governmental actors and citizens?
