IAEA Safety Standards Specific Safety Requirements 2/2 (Rev. 1): Safety of Nuclear Power Plants: Commissioning and Operation

The purpose of this course is to instruct participants on the safety requirements of SSR-2/2. This includes the Fundamental Safety Objective that the requirements are based on. The content of the course covers the important safety concepts in relation to the commissioning and operation of nuclear power plants, the scope of the requirements in SSR-2/2 (Rev. 1) with regard to safe commissioning, operation and maintenance throughout the lifetime of a nuclear power plant and the requirements for preparing for decommissioning of a nuclear power plant.
