    Description

Variability in contouring?causes inaccuracy in radiotherapy planning. We have shown benefit following on-line workshops, and now propose to:Determine the benefit achieved using cases from LMICs Recruit oncologists, trainees, RTTs and dosimetristsModel the improvement in dosimetry achievable?

    Objectives

To enhance the quality of contouring of target volumes and organs at risk for 3D conformal radiotherapy.

    Specific Objectives

Primary objective: To measure the impact of instructor-led virtual learning on homogeneity in radiotherapy contouring by multidisciplinary staff in LMICs. Secondary objectives: To determine whether the benefits seen from blended learning using ‘textbook’ cases are maintained when local imaging from LMICs is used. To determine whether the benefits seen from blended learning are maintained in further anatomical disease sites. To train multidisciplinary staff to contribute to the goal of high quality 3D radiotherapy To evaluate the impact of online blended learning on patient dosimetry
