Assessing Isotopes and the Geochemistry of the El-Abiod Sidi-Cheikh Aquifer System Groundwater Balance in the South-Western Saharan Atlas

To respond to the growing demand for water to satisfy vital needs related to the socioeconomic development of a landlocked region that entirely depends on groundwater resources, specifically to improve the knowledge on the resource in order to manage it better and optimize development plans, thus ensuring sustainable availability of water in a semi-arid to arid region primarily of pastoral and agricultural nature.
