It further promulgates these practices to aid research reactor managers and operators in the achievement of improved safety, efficient management and effective planning at all stages of reactor lifetime. The publication collects 23 contributions from technical meeting participants, representing 20 IAEA Member States. Included among its themes are lifetime management of reactor systems, structures and components; ageing programme design; analysis of component degradation and failure; and programme administration.
