At this event, the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Nuclear Incident Preparedness and Collaboration (NIPC) will facilitate a scenario-based policy discussion (SBPD) among IAEA and member state representatives on international cooperation in emergency preparedness and response (EPR) to a nuclear security incident.).  The SBPD will be a high level introductory event that will touch on EPR themes and goals. At this event, information will be provided on the SBPD which is going to be part of topics covered at the IAEA International Conference on Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies: Building the Future in an Evolving World, taking place in Saudi Arabia in December 2025. This event is organized by the United States of America.
