Interregional cooperation on climate adaptation is an important enabler to guarantee comprehensive and sustainable solutions and bridge the gap between science and policy. Panelists in this event will present the climate adaptation work of their respective organizations. Emphasis will be given to nuclear techniques in the context of climate adaptation programmes. Some IAEA technical cooperation and research projects will be presented alongside other initiatives. The event will focus on climate adaptation in the areas of agriculture, food security, water management and livestock. A new IAEA global climate adaptation project will also be launched at the side event.
