NUCLEUS information resources

The IAEA's NUCLEUS information resource portal provides access to over 100 scientific, technical and regulatory resources, including databases, applications, publications and training material. As it is mainly meant for IAEA counterparts in the government, industry and scientific community, NUCLEUS hosts a number of resources that require registration. Many sites, however, can be accessed without a password.

Incident Reporting Systems for Nuclear Installations

The IAEA administers three separate incident reporting systems to collect, analyse, maintain and disseminate reports from participating countries on safety-related events at nuclear power plants, research reactors and fuel cycle facilities.

Information System on Occupational Exposure in Medicine, Industry and Research (ISEMIR)

The IAEA Information System on Occupational Exposure in Medicine, Industry and Research (ISEMIR) enables data collection to help improve optimization of radiation protection of workers in interventional cardiology (ISEMIR-IC), industrial radiography (ISEMIR-IR) and naturally occurring radioactive materials (ISEMIR-N).

INPRO Collaboration Platform

The IAEA INPRO Collaboration Platform is a collaboration website for experts and organizations involved in INPRO activities, making available information sources that complement IAEA training events, workshops and meetings.

Integrated Nuclear Fuel Cycle Information System (iNFCIS)

INFCIS is a resource for technical and statistical information about nuclear fuel cycle activities worldwide, as reported to the IAEA.

Integrated Review Service for Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Management, Decommissioning and Remediation (ARTEMIS)

ARTEMIS is an integrated expert peer review service for radioactive waste and spent fuel management, decommissioning and remediation programmes. This service is intended for facility operators and organizations responsible for radioactive waste management, as well as for regulators, national policy and other decision-makers.

International Catalogue of Sealed Radioactive Sources and Devices

The ICSRS is a comprehensive catalogue of manufacturers' data on sealed radioactive sources and the devices in which they are or can be used.

International Database on Commodity Tolerance (IDCT)

Through the  International Database on Commodity Tolerance (IDCT), the IAEA  gathers and interprets the literature about commodity quality after phytosanitary irradiation treatment.

International Database on Insect Disinfestation and Sterilization (IDIDAS)

IDIDAS provides information on the doses of radiation applied for insect disinfestation and sterilization to mites and insect pests of crops and veterinary and human importance.

International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES)

The International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES) is a tool for communicating the safety significance of nuclear and radiological events to the public.

International Nuclear Information System (INIS)

The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) hosts one of the world's largest collections of published information on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. INIS is a unique and valuable information resource, offering global coverage of nuclear literature.

International Reactor Dosimetry File

The International Reactor Dosimetry File is a standardized, updated and benchmarked evaluated cross-section library of neutron dosimetry reactions with uncertainty information (IRDF-2002) for use in lifetime management assessments of nuclear power reactors and other applications.
