NUCLEUS information resources

The IAEA's NUCLEUS information resource portal provides access to over 100 scientific, technical and regulatory resources, including databases, applications, publications and training material. As it is mainly meant for IAEA counterparts in the government, industry and scientific community, NUCLEUS hosts a number of resources that require registration. Many sites, however, can be accessed without a password.

Nuclear Data for Safeguards

This data collection contains selected nuclear data for actinides and fission products as well as fission product yields for safeguards applications.

Nuclear Data Services

The IAEA provides fundamental nuclear data for energy and non-energy applications, as well as atomic data for fusion energy research.

Nuclear Events Web-based System

The Nuclear Events Web-based System (NEWS) is an IAEA-supported online communication channel that is linked to INES, the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale, which rates nuclear and radiological events according to their safety significance.

Nuclear Fuel Cycle Simulation System

The NFCSS is a computer simulation system that uses simplified approaches to calculate nuclear fuel cycle requirements.

The Portal gives access to its community of users on a wide variety of nuclear science and instrumentation topics.

NUclear Medicine DAtaBase (NUMDAB)

NUMDAB is an information resource on the status of nuclear medicine practice worldwide. The database contains data on individual nuclear medicine facilities and their manpower and equipment, as well as on the isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals they use.

Nuclear Safety Action Plan Platform

This Platform provides a mechanism to enhance the transparency of activities associated with implementing the IAEA Action Plan on Nuclear Safety and to improve the dissemination of safety-related technical and technological information among IAEA Member States for the purpose of enhancing nuclear safety worldwide.
