The following logistical information is for registered participants of the International High Level Forum on NUTEC Plastics, to be held in Manila, Philippines from 25–26 November 2025.

Conference Working Hours
The International High Level Forum will run from 09:00–18:00 on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 and from 08:00–16:00 on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.
- Opening Plenary
The Opening Plenary and High Level Segment will take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, from 10:30–10:50.
- Closing Plenary
The Closing Plenary Session will take place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, from 15:00–16:00.
Badge Collection
To avoid long queues, participants are encouraged to collect their badges on Monday, 24 November 2025, from 12:00–18:00. Please bring an identification document with picture (Passport or National Identity Card) with you to allow entry to the meeting premises and registration.
Registration will also be available throughout the week during conference working hours.
There will be a dedicated help desk at Conrad Hotel to assist delegates starting Sunday, 23 November 2025.
Meals and Refreshments
Lunch for participants will be provided at the Forum venue on both days. Light refreshments, including coffee and snacks, will be available throughout the Forum’s working hours in the plenary hall.
Bilateral Meeting Rooms Reservation
Bilateral meeting rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact NUTEC plastics forum for scheduling requests.
Exhibition Space
A limited number of exhibition spaces will be available free of charge along the foyer of the plenary hall and atrium. Each exhibitor will be allotted one table (1.5 x 6 ft), including a standard tablecloth. To request an exhibition space, please contact NUTEC plastics forum.

Visit to the “PREx Prototype House”
The PREx Prototype House is the first demonstration structure featuring components made from upcycled plastic waste processed under the Philippines’ Post-Radiation Reactive Extrusion (PREx) project and will be displayed at the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute.
Developed through collaboration between the Philippine government and private sector, with the support of the IAEA through NUTEC Plastics, the project highlights how radiation technology can transform plastic waste into durable materials for construction and industry. It showcases the immense potential of nuclear science to drive innovation, circular economy solutions, and sustainable industrial development.

- Exclusive Visit of High-Level Attendees: A special visit to the “PREx Prototype House” for high-level attendees participating in the Forum will be held at 10:00 on 26 November 2025.

Visit of Foreign Delegates: Courtesy shuttled trips for foreign delegates to visit the “PREx Prototype House” departing the Conference venue at 16:30, with expected return to Conference venue at 19:30. Registration link soon to open.
Availability of the transportation for this event is limited and spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
- Business-to-Business (B2B) Lunch
Location: Conrad Manila Hotel, Pasay City, Seaside Boulevard, Coral Way, Pasay City, 1300 Metro Manila, Philippines.
All participants of the conference are invited to attend the business-to-business (B2B) lunch held at Conrad Hotel on 25 November 2025 at 13:30. The lunch will be conducted in a semi-structured format, including free discussions and interactive information dissemination activities aimed at the business community.
- Gala Dinner (by invitation only)
Location: Museum of Natural History, National Museum of the Philippines, P. Burgos Drive, Rizal Park, Manila
The Gala dinner for select attendees hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs will be held on 25 November 2025. More information will be uploaded soon.

Visa and Travel Information
Ideally, participants are expected to arrive by Monday, 24 November 2025 and depart on Thursday, 27 November 2025, after conclusion of the event.
The Philippines extends a “No-Visa Entry” policy for nationals of selected countries for a stay not exceeding 30 days, provided that these nationals are holders of a passport valid for at least six months beyond their period of stay in the Philippines and a return ticket to their country of origin or a ticket and/or visa to their next country of destination. The list of visa-free and visa-required nationals can be found here.
Participants who require a visa to enter the Philippines are advised to submit their visa applications and documentary requirements at the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate at least 2 weeks before the intended date of travel.
Upon request participants will be issued a designation letter by the IAEA if this is required in support of their visa application and it can be requested via an e-mail.

All arriving visitors to the Philippines, regardless of country or visa status, must visit the Philippine One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration System and use its registration system before arrival and departure. Travelers will be requested to present their eTravel QR code during aircraft boarding.
Accommodation

Accommodation is available at the conference venue Conrad Manila at a preferential rate, this can be reserved following the details available here. The preferential rate is subject to availability.
Participants are responsible for their own travel and hotel arrangements, the IAEA is not in a position to assist participants with hotel bookings, nor can the IAEA assume responsibility for paying cancellation fees or for re-bookings and no shows. All rates are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Transportation and Airport Transfers
Manila International Airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport – NAIA) is located approximately 7 km southwest of central Manila.
Complimentary shuttle services will be available for delegates on a limited, first-come, first-served basis, operating between the airport, the Conference venue, and the accredited hotels listed above. Please present your conference registration at the NUTEC IHLF Helpdesk located at NAIA Terminals 1 and 3 to access this service.
Alternatively, taxis are available outside the arrival terminals 24 hours a day. The fare from the airport to the Conrad Hotel Manila and nearby hotels is approximately €6–7 (PHP 350–400) during the day and €7–8 (PHP 400–450) at night.
Shuttle services will operate daily from Monday, 24 November to Tuesday, 26 November (8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.), and on Wednesday, 27 November (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), subject to availability. A reservation link for this service will be uploaded soon.
Electricity
The standard electrical current in the Philippines is 220 volts at a frequency of 60 Hertz. The power plugs used in the Philippines are types A, B, and C
Currency and Foreign Exchange
The currency in the Philippines is the Philippine Peso (PHP or ?). The currency exchange rate as of 07 October 2025 is USD 1.00 = PHP 58.18. For the latest conversion rates, please access this website. Foreign exchange facilities are available at the airport.
