Enhancing National Capabilities for Analysis, Monitoring and Mitigation of Ciguatera and Other Fish Poisoning

To enhance national capacities for analysis, monitoring and mitigation of ciguatera and other fish poisoning through the application of receptor binding assay (RBA) technology to protect public health, fisheries resources, ecosystem structure and function and coastal aesthetics, and to support the fisheries industry by providing valid technical data on fish toxicity to facilitate export of fish and fish products.
