Webinar on the Nuclear Security Information Management System (NUSIMS) 2.0 Self-Assessment Questionnaire

Earlier in 2025, the IAEA completed the digitalization of the upgraded Nuclear Security Information System (NUSIMS) Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). This webinar is part of a broader outreach effort to raise awareness of the NUSIMS SAQ and to encourage its use.?Participants will learn about how the SAQ supports countries in assessing their nuclear security frameworks, guiding strategic enhancements, and fostering evidence-based, sustainable capacity building. The webinar will also highlight how the self-assessment process help countries to identify specific areas requiring support, enabling them to prioritize resources more effectively and address their most critical nuclear security needs. In turn, results of the SAQ allows the IAEA to better tailor its assistance based on request from Member States, where appropriate.?The webinar aims to provide an overview of the NUSIMS SAQ, its key functionalities, and how it can be used either as a stand-alone tool or as part of the INSSP framework.?
